September 23, 2002 - Salma Hayek has told Parade magazine how she was kidnapped at gunpoint and held for ransom and loved it. She was grabbed in 1983 in her native Mexico with the real target, her wealthy college boyfriend. She says: "They put a gun to my head and I said, 'Kill me. I believe in reincarnation, Ill just come back'. I got into the drama of the thing. It was like being in a movie." Both were freed unharmed.

September 19, 2002 - The New York Daily News reports Salma Hayek just said "no" to a new fur when designer Dennis Basso boldly approached her at the event. "I have eight or nine fur coats hanging in my closet," she said. "But I don't wear them because my boyfriend hates them!"
