17, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports that Salma and a guy other
than Ed were catching Hollow Man at the Hollywood Galaxy 6 She was
sporting a black leather jacket with a pink top that Ted says gave "a very
impressive view of her natural gifts" when she leaned over to ask a couple
to move down a seat.
August 16, 2000 - If you
think Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez have an icy relationship now, word
now comes from Variety that Jennifer has been approached by United Artists
to play the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo in another movie about her,
this one besides the Miramax version of the same biopic.
August 12, 2000 - Salma Hayek
joined Magic Johnson to help AOL Latin America (NASDAQ AOLA) launch their
business in Argentina.
August 12, 2000 - A seductive
picture autographed by Salma Hayek is up for bids at eBay. The 8x10 shot
(item #407311509) is bid at $24.99 and ends August 21.

Pagesix.com blind item today sounds a lot like Salma and Ed Norton: "...while
another pint-sized Tinseltown beauty made her homely boyfriend jealous
by running a continuous commentary on how hot the groom looked."
August 9, 2000 - Star magazine
reports that Matt Damon felt uncomfortable enough to leave when he met
up with Salma and Ed at the Standard Hotel pool in LA, as the two were
all over each other when they shared in drinks.

has been cast as the star of the international bestseller Tear This Heart
Out with her company Ventanarosa Prods. aboard to produce.

pictures featuring Salma Hayek up for bids at eBay. The 8x10 (item #393509634)
is bid at $5 and ended today.
August 1, 2000 - The New
York Daily News reports Salma Hayek is raising eyebrows after accepting
a role in the upcoming Showtime movie In the Time of the Butterflies. The
film is backed by Viacom, which at one time controlled many Dominican properties
during Rafael Leonidas Trujillo's bloody dictatorship, the focus of the
film. The also bring up the fact that Hayek, who admittedly led a very
spoiled childhood, is playing a sister who gave her live fighting Trujillo's
dictatorship.
