January 28, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar has been nominated for Actress of the Year in a Drama Series (Buffy) in the 3rd Annual TV Guide Awards. The event will be held March 7, 2001 on FOX.

January 26, 2001 - Here's a transcript from Freddie Prinze Jr's appearance on the Tonight Show Thursday, though there's not much reference to Sarah. He told Jay at the end they've been dating for a over a year now in response to Jay asking about tabloid rumors and that Sarah is "rock solid."

January 26, 2001 - The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a "humiliated" Sarah Michelle Gellar is retracting comments she made claiming she planned to quit Buffy the Vampire Slayer if the WB series moved to another network. Gellar told the Times, "I'm not going anywhere, and I can't stress that enough. I just said it in passing, and it was only meant to show my appreciation and support for the WB. But Fox [the show's producer] has been very good to me too. I intend to stay with Buffy no matter what."

January 24, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. posed on the red carpet as they arrived at the 58th annual Golden Globe Awards January 21, 2001 in Beverly Hills.

January 24, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar told E! Online that she may leave the show if another network grabs Buffy. Gellar said, "I will stay on Buffy if, and only if, Buffy stays on the WB. The WB has been so supportive, such a great network over the past four years. It feels like home. I don't want the show to move, because I feel that we belong on the WB. It's where our fans are. If Buffy leaves the WB, I'm out."

January 22, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar was at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills Sunday. Sarah was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama. The award went to Sela Ward for Once and Again.

January 22, 2001 - Freddie Prinze Jr. will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday (tonight), so hopefully more details on what's going on with him and Sarah will be shared.

January 21, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar is featured in a pair of ebay autographed picture auctions. The first shows her with David Boreanez, item #1405210210, which is unbid at $16.99 and ends January 25th. The other, item #543231371, which is unbid at $18.99 and also ends January 25th.

January 18, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports rumors of Freddie Prinze and Sarah Michelle Gellar being finished are untrue, as the two were spotted in Bali over the New Year, where they stayed at the Four Seasons.

January 15, 2001 - Entertaindom.com reports Sarah Michelle Gellar lost so much weight for I Know What You Did Last Summer that she ended up losing not only weight, but a bra cup size. In addition, they report she once drove to the studio in only her underwear without even realizing it explaining, "All of a sudden people started staring. I looked down and realized I'd never put my dress on. I'd worked all night on 'Buffy' and was at the cracking point."

January 15, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar will appear on Grosse Point on February 18th... The preview indicates Sarah may kiss Lindsay Sloane ("Marcy") in the show. Thanks Serendipity.

January 10, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar was on Access Hollywood today to give them a warm fuzzy on the WB. While things at the management level are ugly, Sarah says it's all part of negotiation and she expects they'll remain with WB.

January 9, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca was posed the question of whether Sarah was now dating Buffy co-star James Marsters after dumping Freddie and he said he hadn't heard that rumor.
