August 25, 2001 - Freddie Prinze Jr.'s buddy Matthew Lillard gives Sarah Michelle Gellar credit as the stabilizing force in Freddie's life saying, "Can he play video games for five hours now? Probably not as easily when Sarah's around. But I don't think he wants to. Would you? ... The last thing he wants to do is hang out with a guy who looks like me!"

August 23, 2001 - Freddie Prinze Jr. was on with Jay Leno where he revealed he narrowly escaped death after falling 12 feet from a ladder on his head while installing a DirectTV dish. Freddie got a concusion from the fall and friends say he probably has brain damage.

August 22, 2001 - Freddie Prinze Jr. refused to budge on the secret wedding date telling Katrillion.com, "Even if I was sitting in front of Barbara Walters, I would never in a million years give you that answer. We are engaged. We will be married. You guys will know after it happens."

August 21, 2001 - Freddie Prinze Jr. was on with Howard Stern this morning as Howard was trying to get him to reveal details of their sex life, but Freddie just repeatedly said, "She's the greatest." Howard tried talking him out of getting married to Sarah saying he's too young and that it would never last 10 years.

August 19, 2001 - Freddie Prinze Jr. tells US Weekly the bare ass on Summer Catch isn't his. Prinze admits, "I have a no nudity clause in my contract. Nobody is ever gonna see my ass besides Sarah."

August 17, 2001 - AP is reporting 20th Century Fox Television, which produces Buffy The Vampire Slayer, is shutting down unofficial sites dedicated to the show.

August 15, 2001 - The New York Daily News reports Sarah Michelle Gellar's spokeswoman, Leslie Sloan, denies a report that she's been getting death threats from a fan she supposedly snubbed, calling it a urban legend orginating from Buffy chat rooms.

August 14, 2001 - According to Foxnews.com, Sarah Michelle Gellar's acceptance speech for extraordinary achievement was, "I'm honored that all of you guys think I'm a role model. So believe in yourself and go for it."

August 12, 2001 - IMDB reports Sarah Michelle Gellar is living in fear following a string of death threats. Sarah hired bodyguards after receiving a series of notes written in blood. Sarah admits, "I won't feel safe until he is behind bars."

August 12, 2001 - The Sydney Herald Sun reports Buffy the Vampire Slayer is now part of the English curriculum at the University of Adelaide.

August 5, 2001 - Sarah Michelle Gellar will be honored at the ceremony with the extraordinary achievement award at the Teen Choice Awards August 12 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, which will air from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on August 20 on Fox.

August 4, 2001 - The Star reports Sarah Michelle Gellar admitting, "I'm no pushover, and I'm only interested in a man if he is very driven and very serious." Sarah also adressed her father Arthur who walked out on her and Rosellen saying, "I don't want to acknowledge him as my father."

Buffy made me a stronger person. Growing up, I always felt different from other kids and they would always tease me about my work in commercials or TV as a way of putting me down.
