reports a pal admits Sarah Michelle Gellar is stunned and upset over her
father's death. A pal revealed, "Sarah is overwhelmed with sadness that
she's lost the opportunity to make amends." Arthur Gellar's co-worker told
the Globe, "The poor guy died penniless and heartbroken. He had stacks
and stacks of articles and photos of Sarah. He always hoped they'd reconcile.
He never stopped loving her."
24, 2001 - Star reports cold-hearted Sarah Michelle Gellar skipped the
Long Island funeral for her father Arthur Gellar. A friend told the Star,
"Arthur Gellar died of a broken heart as much as from anything else."
October 24, 2001 - The Enquirer
reports that just before his death presumably by drug overdose brought
on by the depression of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Arthur Gellar told a friend,
"Just before he died, Arthur told me, 'I've watched every episode of 'Buffy.'
I watch my gorgeous daughter, and it tears my heart out that I can't be
part of her life.'"
October 23, 2001 - Serious
USA, Inc. and Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising announced
yesterday that they'll soon be launching the premiere set of Buffy the
Vampire Slayer CD Cardz, which will sell for $19.95.

are guessing E! Online's blind item from Ted Casablanca this week is Sarah
Michelle Gellar; "Meow alert! One small-screen siren is getting quite a
rabid rep. The blond b-buster has gotten increasingly crabby with her costar
cronies and many on-set toilers. The vexin' vixen is pushing some pissed-off
buttons. Even though you may have heard this scandalous story before, this

October 11, 2001 - NEWS FLASH::::
Heartbreaking news as the Sun is reporting that Arthur Gellar, 60,
was discovered dead in his apartment after colleagues became worried when
he failed to show for work. The cause of death is not known, though he'd
been diagnosed with cancer of the kidney. As we know, Sarah basically disowned
him saying, "I don't have a father. I would never give him the credit to
acknowledge him as my father." Despite Sarah's heartless comments, her
father had said, "I'd still love to have a relationship with her."
October 6, 2001 - UPN has
launched a new official Buffy site following the shows' move to the network.
The new site is at BuffyUPN.com, which opened October 2 to 1.2 million
visitors, according to Zap2it.com
October 3, 2001 - Sarah Michelle
Gellar talked to Access Hollywood about returning to the set of Buffy following
the terror attacks in the United States on September 11 saying, "It was
just very quiet. I think there was just a certain amount of guilt that
we had to go back and work and you feel sort of frivolous and helpless."
