May 22, 2000 - Pagesix.com reports Sarah Michelle Gellar was seen "canoodling" with Freddie Prinze Jr. at Mr. Chow's in New York.

May 21, 2000 - Sarah Michelle Gellar made a surprise appearance last night on SNL, playing 'Skank 1' in the opening monologue, losing out in the Who Want's to Be My Skank? contest to Florence Henderson.

May 20, 2000 - The Hollywood Reporter reports that a humbled WB met with advertisers to go over next season's fall lineup and Sarah was late arriving, prompting WB executive vp Jordan Levin to stall the audience. When Sarah and David Boreanaz finally rushed in, David said "I was in the bathroom," to which Sarah Michelle Gellar responded "I was not with him!"

May 19, 2000 - An emailer tells us the reason Joss Whedon 'chickened out' of showing the kiss was that WB forced him not to show it. He said this in an interview on NPR. This is quite surprising given the fact that Dawson's Creek will feature the first "passionate" kiss between two males in its next episode.

May 19, 2000 - Sarah Michelle Gellar was on Conan O'Brien last night, unfortunately, my VCR failed to record the event so no highlights... It doesn't seem to like the OTR function after midnight !@#%#@. Sorry.

May 15, 2000 - As expected, Joss Whedon chickened out of showing the Willow (Alyson Hannigan) and Tara (Amber Benson) girl-girl kiss last week (perhaps under pressure from WB), but have made it clear the two are a couple.

May 15, 2000 - We're not sure why, but Britney Spears thanked Sarah on the closing credits for SNL last week.
