reports Robert Brown, a former sheep shearer from Australia claims that
he wrote many of Shania Twain's hits, using the name Robert Mutt Lange
as a pseudonym. He also claims that Shania is secretly Australian. The
case is currently in court.

Post's Cindy Adams jokes, "Shania Twain's so adamant about vegetarianism,
I hear she now wants her dog to take off his fur coat."
May 16, 2001 - Shania Twain
was ranked #24 in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2001 edition, voted
on by readers. Shania was at #2 last year and Jennifer Lopez was rated
#1 for the second straight year.
May 4, 2001 - Shania Twain
won World's Best Selling Canadian Artist at the World Music Awards in Monaco
on Wednesday in Monaco.
May 2, 2001 - The Los Angeles
Times surveyed "22 of the most powerful executives in the record business"
for comments on the future of top current musicians, including Shania.
An executive said of Twain, "Faith Hill is a better singer, but Shania
is the bigger star, and that quality will keep her going for a few years."
