"It's pretty remarkable how sweet and real this girl is, keep in mind she's been in the business since she was a little girl, and I just admire that, I really do," Twain said. On Britney vs. Christina Aguilera, Twain added, "I don't know man, they are completly different girls, both can shake it, but I think Britney is a better performer though, she knows what to do on stage and how to keep it going.""

September 20, 2004 - One of three men arrested in an Edmonton drug bust is the brother of Shania Twain, reports the Edmonton Sun. The newspaper said it had confirmed that a 30-year-old man named Darryl Christopher Twain, charged with possession of a drug for the purpose of trafficking, is the youngest of the singer's two half-brothers.

September 20, 2004 - Globe magazine reports that Shania Twain is shocked and heartbroken over her brother Darryl's arrest for possession of crack cocaine. "Shania is beside herself," a Twain relative revealed. "She raised Darryl since he was 12 and always feels a responsibility twoards him. They've kid of been on the outs for a few years now, but she's never stopped loving him. This arrest could put a good scare in Darryl and maybe he and his sister can get on the same page again."
