A pal told the Globe, Shania's marriage to Mutt has been cracking for a number of years. Now they're talking with counselors to try and recover the love they had."

December 23, 2000 - MTV Asia reports Shania Twain's third album "Come On Over" has beaten the sales record set by Whitney Houston's soundtrack for "The Bodyguard" in the category of solo female artist.

December 17, 2000 - Shania Twain is featured in an autographed picture auction on ebay. The photo, item #526962422, is bid at $14.95 and ends today.

December 7, 2000 - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has polled it's members who named Shania Twain the sexiest vegetarian alive. Twain says, "I don't eat meat, fish or eggs. I was never a big meat eater, but I've got more energy now."

December 4, 2000 - Entertainment Weekly reports details on why Shania's planned Christmas album won't be available. A source close to Shania told EW, "As she was working on it, she began writing songs and decided to focus on a new CD rather than rush to get something out by Christmas." They add Shania is working on a new album that should be out in 2001.
