May 6, 2000 - Traditional no-show Shania Twain again missed this year's Academy of Country Music Awards Wednesday, as she did with the AMA's and the Grammys. Nevertheless, she was honored as Entertainer of the Year. Shania was apparently in her mansion in Switzerland.

April 28, 2000 - Shania Twain was named to People's 50 Most Beautiful list for this year, with Julia Roberts getting top nod.
