January 28, 2001 - Sisqo
is commenting on being nominated for Best New Artist in the Grammy Awards
despite not really being a 'new artist'. Sisqo says, "The first year of
my career, Dru Hill won several awards, but we've never been nominated
for a Grammy, ever, so this is my first time. I'm a new solo artist, and
you can only get [Best New Artist] one time in your career, so I'm hoping
that I get that award, that'd be dope."

28, 2001 - Sisqo has been nominated as Favorite Male - New Artist in the
Seventh Annual Blockbuster Awards. The show will air April 11th on FOX.
January 26, 2001 - Sisqo
has been nominated for Favorite Male Singer in the Kids' Choice Awards.
Rosie O'Donnell will host the awards show on April 21 on Nickelodeon.
January 22, 2001 - Sisqo
is commenting on a Dru Hill reunion, which will be on tour, not a new album.
Sisqo tells Entertainment Weekly, "The year we spent apart made it so nobody
could talk to each other. If somebody's breath was stinking or somebody
farmed, you ain't even wanting to say, 'Damn, that was nasty!', you'd sooner
walk out of the room so he could wallow in it. Jazz threatened to kill
me. Nokio threatened to kill me, then I told them they can shove Dru Hill
up their a**." On the bright side though, Sisqo added, "The cool thing
is that we still get along. THey're going on tour with me this summer.
I know what I said sounds harsh, but in my neighborhood, that's how we
talk to each other." Dru Hill is expected to perform a small set at the
end of Sisqo's shows.

reports Sisqo gave a $50,000 donation to his local church.
January 21, 2001 - Sisqo
is featured here in an autographed picture auction on ebay. The photo,
item #1405181596, is unbid at $9.95 and ends January 22nd.
January 17, 2001 - Sisqo
has been nominated as Best International Male Solo Artist in the 2001 Brit
Awards.
January 15, 2001 - Sisqo
will appear on Who Wants to be a Millionaire between February 11th and
14th along with other music stars such as the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter
and Howie Dorough and KISS frontman Gene Simmons.
January 9, 2001 - Sisqo came
up empty handed at the 28th Annual American Music Awards Monday night
in Los Angeles, but he did get to introduce his friend Pink who performed.
January 7, 2001 - Sisqo was
on hand for the announcement of nominations for the 43rd Annual Grammy
Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Wednesday. Sisqo
is pictured with Nelly, Toni Braxton, and JC from *NSYNC.
January 7, 2001 - Sisqo was
among the panelists on Politically Incorrect Friday alongside Pink, Nelly,
and Dick Clark, where they discussed hip-hop music.
January 5, 2001 - Sisqo tells
E! that he's been cast opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. in a film Sisqo admittedly
didn't know the name of, but later was found out to be Winterdance, which
is based on a Gary Paulsen novel. Sisqo also told E! he got his first script
for his NBC sitcom.
January 4, 2001 - Sisqo has
been nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance (Thong Song), Best
R&B Song (Thong Song), Best R&B Album (Unleash the Dragon) and
Best New Artist in the 43rd annual Grammy Awards to be held at Los Angeles'
Staples Center and broadcast live on CBS on February 21st.
