December 5, 2001 - Bernie Mac gave Sisqo a hard time during his opening monologue to the Billboard Music Awards Tuesday night where he joked, "First of all, this is the Billboard Awards. That means this show is about the charts. If you ain't number one, you ain't got nothing coming," adding "And just because you didn't sell a lot of records don't mean you ain't good. You just missed the mark. I love the Sisqo album. He ain't here."

November 4, 2001 - Sisqo was on hand at the premiere of the animated film "Monsters, Inc." Sunday, October 28 in the Hollywood area of Los Angeles. Check out a photo here.

October 6, 2001 - The November Vibe has Sisqo at #3 in 20 Questions asking, "Considering his current album sales, do you think Sisqo regrets proclaiming that he is the best R&B singer out today?"

September 3, 2001 - In an abstracts.net poll asking what you thought of Sisqo's new video for Can I Live, 79.9% said you loved it, while 13.3% said it was ok, and 6.8% said they didn't like it. There were 399 total votes cast.

September 1, 2001 - Katrillion reports Sisqo will guest star on the season opener of Sabrina the Teenage Witch where he'll play a vampire. The season premiere of the show airs  8 p.m. on September 14th.

August 23, 2001 - Worldpop reports Sisqo and Usher are set to square off when both perform at the MoBo awards as the two have already performed together earlier this year prompting organizers to stick them on opposite ends of the venue.

August 23, 2001 - BBC has an interview with Sisqo where he admits the movie he starred in, Get Over It, wasn't very good. Sisqo says, "It was real corny. It didn't really do nothing in the box office in America, but we think it's gonna definitely do better as far as like renting it on video, whatever. At the end of the day I didn't really care if it did anything or not. I was basically trying to show that I'm not a one-dimensional character, that's why I played the role of Dennis in this movie."
