August 28, 2000 - MTV announced that Sisqo will be performing on the VMA's which will air live on September 7th.

August 26, 2000 - Sisqo won R&B Artist Of The Year in this year's fight shortened Source Awards. The show will air on UPN on August 29th.

August 21, 2000 - Sounds like Sisqo did more than sing on the Tonight show Friday, as he announced he's been given a sitcom deal with NBC. Sisqo will be starring in a urban-oriented sitcom along the lines of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

August 21, 2000 - Worldpop reports Sisqo has moved into a 5 bedroom home in Hollywood's Mulholland Drive that he's renting for an astronomical $50,000 a month. The house has a gym, spa and pool, and 7 baths.

August 19, 2000 - Sisqo performed on the Tonight Show last night. I missed the taping but assume he played Unleash the Dragon, although Incomplete may have been played.

August 19, 2000 - Sisqo played on releasing the video Unleash the Dragon but MTV reports he's rushing to get a video made for Incomplete as it's the #1 single in the country right now.

August 18, 2000 - Sisqo will join Christina Aguilera, *NSYNC, and the Wayans Brothers on special TV Guide covers to celebrate the MTV Video Music Awards.

August 12, 2000 - Sisqo attended the premiere screening of The Original Kings of Comedy on Thursday in Hollywood. Prior to the film, the stars of the film presented Richard Pryor MTV Films' Lifetime Achievement award.

August 11, 2000 - Sisqo is talking to USA Today about his new video, Incomplete, saying "I didn't even want to shoot the video because as a guy, we don't particularly care for looking at ballad videos with some guy singing all slow to some chick," adding "But then it jumped so high on the charts, I said, 'Hey, maybe people do want to see me in this light'."

August 7, 2000 - Sisqo won Choice Rap/Hip-Hop/R&B Track  for Thong Song in this years Teen Choice Awards 2000 which although awarded Sunday, will air on Fox Aug. 22 at 8 p.m.

August 6, 2000 - ex-Blackstreet member Chauncey 'Black' Hannibal is attacking Sisqo in the lyrics of his song Shame On You, which he sings "'Shame on a brother who unleash the drag queen with the funny hair colour. I'm talkin' about Sisqo, now everyone knows that you're the one wearing those thongs."

August 5, 2000 - Songwriters and producers Tim and Bob received a multiplatinum plaque from Dreamworks Music for their work on Sisqo's Thong Song. They said of the award, "When I think about the 'Thong Song,' that's 'Thriller' [Michael Jackson] for me."

August 5, 2000 - Sisqo has signed a developmental deal with Big Ticket Television, where his sitcom pilot is expected by the fall of 2001.

August 3, 2000 - Sisqo was named in Vibe magazine's 100 Most Influencial People, Places, and Things where they said of him, "Is there such a thing as sublime stupidity? Can ridiculousness reach the point of absolute brilliance? Of course, this is America."
