July 29, 2000 - Sisqo and Shemar Moore will host the sixth annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards in Los Angeles Saturday, Sept. 2.

July 25, 2000 - Sisqo's Thong Song has been nominated for Best Hip-Hop Video, Best Dance Video, Best New Artist In A Video, Best Video From A Film (Remix), and Viewer's Choice in this year's MTV Video Music Awards, which will be hosted by the Wayans brothers, reports Worldpop.

July 21, 2000 - Worldpop reports Sisqo's new video for Unleash the Dragon will cost $2.5 million to produce, where Sisqo will be facing a literal dragon, computer generated. The video will premiere sometime in August.

July 15, 2000 - Sisqo was featured in a Q&A with the New York Daily News' Lauren Rubin. When asked about his best date he said "I was with a celebrity. It was in Cancun, and we didn't do nothing but sit on the balcony and look at the ocean and talk. Normally, I'm a lot more physical, but with this particular person I was hanging on every word." [so we gotta know, who did Sisqo hook up with at the MTV Spring Break?]

July 15, 2000 - *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Joe, and Sisqo will take part in a press conference at a McDonald's located on Grays Ferry Avenue in Philadelphia at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday (July 20). The 4 acts got big bucks to pitch McDonalds burgers. McDonalds also is putting out make three new CDs and a home video of the bunch.

July 10, 2000 - Amy from Teen People was on eYada.com talking about Sisqo being on the cover of their August issue. She says he's a real nice guy and that he created his persona from what he saw from pro wrestling, like his platinum hair, talking about himself in the 3rd person, and the whole 'dragon' look.

July 8, 2000 - Variety reports Sisqo is currently working on his first film, Getting Over Alison which should be in theathers 2001. Sisqo dropped out of the *NSYNC tour to devote more time to the project.

July 8, 2000 - Sisqo's Summer Shakedown is the 2nd most popular show on MTV according to viewers. The top show, TRL. Commenting on the show, MTV's Dave Holmes said "They've tapped into something with it, everybody loves to dance."

July 1, 2000 - Sisqo will battle a monstrous creature, saving the day in an upcoming mini-movie for the title track of his song Unleash The Dragon. The video will be shot July 2, 3, and 4th.

July 1, 2000 - Sisqo will be one of several performers at Party in the Park in London's Hyde Park. An audience of 100,000 is expected to turn out for the sold-out event.
