9, 2000 - Tupac conspiracies are again making headlines as The Smoking
Gun reports the FBI "extensively investigated" whether late rap music stars
Tupac Shakur and Eric "Eazy-E" Wright were the victims of death threats
and extortion plots hatched by individuals aligned with the militant Jewish
Defense League. The Post asked JDL spokesman David Weiss to comment, where
to responded "We boycotted some rappers for anti-semitic lyrics about 10
years ago, but we've never heard anything about this." For the full report,

September 1, 2000 - The entire
ordeal involving Faith Evans, Biggie, and Tupac has made Spin Magazine's
100 Sleaziest Moments in Rock. The Evan's Biggie marriage was basically
destroyed by the claims by Tupac and within 5 months both Biggie and Tupac
were murdered.
August 26, 2000 - We've added

August 19, 2000 - 2Pac's
family has settled a lawsuit with the family of Orlando Anderson. Anderson's
estate had claimed that 2Pac's family had offered a $78,000 settlement
hours before he was shot to death but later never paid up.
August 12, 2000 - Big L,
a notable figure in the New York underground rap scene who was gunned down
in February 1999, is getting major hype after death with his previously
unreleased recordings in the album The Big Picture debuted at #12 on the
Billboard charts. One of the tracks features a duet with Tupac.
