February 23, 2001 - Kim Smith commented to Craig Kilborn on the Late Show last night that Tyra Banks was "really sweet" and "really down to earth." Smith also said during their Victoria's Secret shooting, Tyra would refer to the 17 year old model as "the rookie."

February 12, 2001 - Tyra Banks talks to YM magazine on Valentine's Day, "Being single on Valentine's Day doesn't suck at all. At least I don't have to eat those nasty chocolates some guy gives me and then pretend I like them."

February 10, 2001 - In an abstracts.net poll asking visitors if they thought Tyra the world's most beautiful African American woman, 81.1% of you said yes, while 18.9% said no. A total of 607 votes were cast.
