May 26, 2001 - Almost immediately after the report that Derek Jeter was making out with Tyra Banks, the New York Post reported Friday, "Derek Jeter, we're repeatedly told, never gets anywhere with Lara Dutta or Tyra Banks. Go figure."

May 24, 2001 - The New York Post reports Tyra Banks was spotted at Merchants NY on Monday night where she was spotted kissing Yankee Derek Jeter. A witness claimed "Jeter was all over her" and said Tyra ordered fruit smoothies while the group she was with, which besides Jeter included Tino Martinez and Jamie Lynn-Sigler ordered alcohol.

May 16, 2001 - Tyra Banks was ranked #33 in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2001 edition, voted on by readers. Tyra was at #5 last year and Jennifer Lopez was rated #1 for the second straight year. Interestingly, they quote Tyra saying, "A lot of people think I have implants because I have the biggest boobs in the business, but I was a 34C when I was 17."

May 13, 2001 - Tyra Banks is featured here in an autographed photo auction on ebay. The bikini shot, item #1430263596, is unbid at $45 and the auction ends today.

May 6, 2001 - Entertainment Weekly reports Tyra Banks is set to join the cast of Jamie Foxx's variety show pilot on The WB called These Nuts. In addition, Tyra's going through the audition process for the Groundlings, the LA comedy troupe.

May 6, 2001 - Tyra Banks is featured in a pair of interesting auctions on ebay. The first features a mannequin bust with wig bearing remarkable resemblence to Tyra. The item is unbid at $280. The other item is a Victoria's Secret robe worn by and autographed by Tyra and autographed photo currently bid at only $26.

May 6, 2001 - Tyra Banks, Busta Rhymes, and Sean Patrick Thomas will star in Halloween 8 for Dimension Films.
