February 5, 2006 - 'Extra' was in Las Vegas with Tyra Banks the moment she found out the future of her talk show is a sure thing. "I'm so happy to be sitting here right now," Banks said. She visited the Silverton to interview 'American Idol's Paula Abdul, who will become the resort hotel's entertainment producer. February 5, 2006 - The Las Vegas Review Journal reports Tyra Banks was spotted revealing her inner showgirl during the opening number of 'Jubilee!' on Saturday at Bally's when she joined the cast. She donned a rhinestone bar, a G string, a headdress and fake eyelashes. In town to tape a February show, she attended Celine Dion's 'A New Day' on Saturday and dined at Bradley Ogden restaurant, where she taped a culinary lesson with chefs Bradley and Bryan Ogden. January 18, 2006 - In the February issue of Playboy, Adrianne Curry lashes out at Tyra Banks, who originally made her famous with 'America's Next Top Model'. "She's really mean. She's Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde," said Curry, who has complained in the past that Banks and the show's producers didn't help her win contracts when the show ended. "She can be the sweetest person in the world, but once that camera is off, she's Naomi Campbell, in your face."

January 7, 2006 - Quentin Tarantino confessed on 'The Tyra Banks Show' that he's "hooked" on her talk fest. After Banks gushed to Tarantino that she's a fan of his, Tarantino replied, "Thank you so much. Well I actually feel the same way because I watch your show every day." He continued: "I kinda got hooked on the show ... I see the Tyra show at 10 [a.m. in L.A.], and then ... there's the other one at five [p.m.]."
