October 29, 2000 - Tyra Banks was in New York Tuesday, October 25th meeting with and honoring burn victim Bethany Grace Essary, 4, who received an Angels in Action award. The other, Danielle Lee, 9, of Arlington, Texas received the award for saving her younger brother's life by performing the Heimlich maneuver.

October 28, 2000 - Tyra Banks is featured in Maxim Magazine's Models 2000 - Five for the Ages, where they highlight the fact that Tyra has appeared on more than 20 magazine covers.

October 21, 2000 - Anne Sullivan and two other Chicago-area women won fashion makeovers on Oprah's annual fall fashion show which was broadcast on Friday, this year with supermodel Tyra Banks.

October 21, 2000 - Tyra Banks and her Coyote Ugly castmates are featured here in an autographed picture by Tyra only being auctioned on eBay. The photo (item #470124081) is unbid at only $9.00 and ends October 22th.

October 16, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casblanca on Tyra Banks film career, "The babe is dead set on a film career. Don't know how long she's going to keep that ill-conceived dream up, but it is the one she has for the moment."

October 15, 2000 - Apparently Tyra Banks is a big fan of ketchup, as the New York Post reports via a friend, "She is addicted to ketchup. She practically pours a whole bottle on her fries. Then she'll keep dipping the same fry into the ketchup until it dissolves. She uses french fries as a fork to eat as much ketchup as she can."

October 15, 2000 - A couple of Tyra Banks items are bidding on eBay. The first is a sketch of Tyra Banks, had she played Storm in X-Men (item #468168414), which is unbid at $39.99 and ends October 20th. The other features Tyra's booty (item #467131962) which is unbid at $18.99 and ends October 19th.

October 12, 2000 - In an Abstracts.net poll asking what you thought of Tyra Banks in Coyote Ugly, 70.2% thought she was fantastic, 22.5% said she was ok, while only 7.3% hated her in the part, with 178 total votes.

October 12, 2000 - The New York Post is running a blind item asking "Which Victoria's Secret hottie loves her colleagues so much she sometimes persuades them to come home with her for sapphic sessions?" Later when the writer Richard Johnson was on eYada.com, he said it wasn't Heidi Klum but was tight lipped when Tyra Bank's name came up.

October 9, 2000 - The New York Post reports that Tyra Banks is shopping for a home in New York, according to friends.
