December 19, 2000 - More
disturbing details from the Enquirer about Yasmine Bleeth and charges from
friends saying she's "snorting cocaine like there's no tomorrow." The friends
say Yasmine would go to her trailer on the set of Titans at least 5 times
a day and suffered frequent nosebleeds. Yasmine alledgedly had white powder
visible in her nostrils after these trips and talked a mile a minute afterwards,
suffering extreme mood swings while on the set. Yasmine also has lost alot
of weight, prompting a source on the set to tell the tabloid, "Yasmine
used to have such nice feminine curves. Now she's a bag of bones. She's
so strung out on drugs she really looks sick." Makeup artists on the set
also have had a hard time with Yasmine because she has terrible bags under
her skin and it's splotchy looking. Nobody in the story admits though to
being eyewitness to her snorting up.
December 15, 2000 - Disturbing
news coming out as eYada.com's Richard Johnson is previewing this week's
tabloids saying Yasmine Bleeth is being labeled a coke head and in desperate
need of help. One of her Titans co-stars revealed that while kissing Yasmine,
he tasted cocaine and his lips became numb. We'll report more details as
they come in.
December 15, 2000 - E! Online's
Ted Casablanca reports shocking details about Yasmine's stint on the now
cancelled Titans. Insiders revealed almost every day Yasmine phoned in
whining about having to come in to shoot, and when she did she showed visible
signs of partying hard, giving the makeup folks a complicated task of making
her look good for the show. Show producer basically had Yasmine babysat
to drive her everywhere, though trips other than to and from the set had
to be approved by Spelling.
December 12, 2000 - Entertainment
Weekly's Kristen Baldwin chimes in on Titans being cancelled, saying NBC
gave up on the nighttime soap too soon and she thought the show could've
built an audience given time.
December 7, 2000 - Yasmine
is unemployed. Time finally ran out on Titans, as NBC not going to order
any more episodes of the nighttime soap opera. Four of the thirteen shows
will air over the next several weeks, but that'll be the end of the show.
